Make RATs free and widely accessible

With COVID spreading rapidly across the community the government need to make sure everyone can access a test, particularly people living in rural and regional Tasmania who have been left off the map.

The lack of access to testing, both PCR and RATs, is placing huge stress on individuals and also impacting many businesses who have staff off work who are waiting to access a test.

We call on the government to urgently distribute RATs in regions where testing is not easily accessible and to make them free.

People are trying to do the right thing and get tested, but for many it is nearly impossible.

Our health workers are doing a tremendous job under huge pressure and they need support from the government to continue to keep Tasmanians safe.
